My Experience

Pastries - $4

Butter Croissant - $2.5

Coffee/Tea - $1

Fresh Juice - $2

This trip should definitely be on everyone's bucket list! All the hikes were beautiful and an insane experience from start to end. It feels like you are walking on top of the world at times, and it left me excited for the climb ahead. The trails were difficult at times, and my knee started to bother me after a long walk downhill at the end of our first day. But, the views and experience made up for it!

$20 per vehicle

Dead Horse Point

This state park is on the way to Canyonlands National Park. It's a smaller park with a beautiful and dramatic overlook of both the national park and the Colorado River. The history and legend of the park are worth the visit to learn about.

Park Pass

Skyline Arch Trail

This is a short trail, with the arch only 0.2 miles from the trailhead. Once you get to the arch, it's way above you and not the best view. However, there are lots of rocks to climb and a small slot in the wall you can go into. If you are feeling brave, you can easily climb up and get a better view. So, don't skip it!

Park Pass

Devil's Garden Trail

The total length of this trail is 7.9 miles, but I suggest committing to the Double O Arch and back. This section is 4.1 miles and takes you by multiple arches, but it's on the difficult side. The experience is awesome, and you get to see the park's fin formations from above. Make sure you are comfy with heights!

Arches National Park was my favorite park we visited while we were in Moab. We spent a day and a half in the park and completed multiple hikes. Make sure to hit all the icons while also taking the time to explore some of the lesser-known trails. I'm not an experienced hiker and had no hiking equipment, but I fared just fine on the difficult trails. The park was beautifully maintained, but make sure to leave no trace!

I didn't eat at this restaurant, but I got ice cream to go from their ice cream section located at the entrance of the building. They had a variety of flavors and even offered soft serve and milkshakes. However, what really made it stand out to me was their huckleberry ice cream flavor. It was the perfect refreshing treat at the end of a long day of hiking! Plus, it's located right on Main Street.

This authentic Thai restaurant is the perfect fuel for all the hiking you will do in the surrounding parks of Moab. It's located slightly off Main Street if you are looking to avoid larger crowds but still want a great meal. They have a large menu, so there is something for everyone. I recommend the classic Pad Thai!
